On Friday last our Golden Masters B doubles pairing of Stanley Harte & Peter Chambers were expected to do well in the Connacht doubles semi-finals. However the lads were ambushed in Lisacul and fell in straight games (17-21, 10-21) to the rossies. Collooney hosts two Connacht doubles championships with the Junior C & Silver Masters B doubles parings all in action against Roscommon on Saturday starting at 5 p.m.
The Collooney handball team of Aoife McDonagh, Gerry Coleman & Michael McGee take on St. Mary's G.A.A.Club in the quarter-final of the Ocean FM sports radio quiz in the Crozon Inn on Saturday 12th February at 8.30 p.m.
