The final of the Collooney handball tournament takes place in
the new 40 x 20 handball court on Monday evening December 15th at
7.30 p.m.
Ginley & Murphy
to steer Team C to victory
The final will be beween Team C of Michael Ginley, Mark
Murphy, Pat O’Sullivan, Martin Golden, Connell Cannon & Martin Brannigan.
Team G will be represented by Pat Fox, Joe McCann, Michael Browne, Aoife Quinn,
Michael Murphy & Liam Naughton.
Team C will go into the final as favourites and with Michael
Ginley recent runner-up in the Irish 40 X 20 Nationals finals (Masters B ) in fine form
along with playing partner Mark Murphy they should have too much for the ever
improving Fox/McCann combination.
Overall Team C look to have the necessary strength in depth
and should gain an historic first title in the impressive Collooney handball 40
x 20 handball court since its opening last August at a cost of€200,000
